WHERE TO EAT

Edo's Squid

Hope's favorite restaurant serving up casual, delicious Italian. Since reopening reservations are required - call at 3pm day-of.

Lemaire

Looking for a Michelin-rated meal? You can't go wrong at the historic Jefferson Hotel's Lemaire. Reservations required.

Boathouse Rocketts Landing

Good seafood, located right on the river.

Buzz & Ned's

In the mood for BBQ? This place beat Bobby Flay!

Lunch.Supper

Really great southern (read: friend green tomatoes) for a hearty lunch or brunch.

WHERE TO DRINK

Hardywood Richmond - our favorite local brewery

(the West Creek one is actually our fave location,
but a bit far from downtown)

Many other breweries, like Legend Brewing Company or Stone Brewing - for more, check out the Richmond Beer Trail

Quirk Hotel Rooftop Bar -  nice view of downtown

Hotel Greene - cocktails with a round of mini golf

Richmond Wine Station - pour your own tastings

Brambly Park - urban winery with drinks, food, live music, and outdoor tables/games

Topgolf - RVA has one of these now, plus a Drive Shack (but that one's a bit far from downtown)

Circuit Arcade Bar - arcade games + craft drinks

WHAT ELSE TO DO

Our wedding weekend is the weekend of this year's Richmond Folk Festival - a free 3-day outdoor music festival right around the corner from the hotel on Richmond's Historic Riverfront.

Be cultured at Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

Step back in history at St. John's Church, site of iconic "give me liberty or give me death"

Stop and smell the flowers at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens or Maymont

Be adventurous and kayak or raft the James River.

Have a little more time and a car? Sip on vino at Upper Shirley Vineyards, or take a trip to explore Williamsburg, Jamestown or Charlottesville

+ so much more
